Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chardonnay from the Uco Valley in Argentina opens with a mild vanilla custard, faint pineapple bouquet with a hint of pine sap. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a mild pineapple and Anjou pear blend with notes of herbal tea and green apple. I also detected some hints of integrated light oak, almond and a touch of white peach. The finish is dry and flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this impressive Chard with a grilled huli huli chicken. Enjoy - Ken
