Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with an apple and poached Bartlett pear bouquet with a hint of cashew. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, very approachable and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a Bartlett pear and pineapple blend with notes of butterscotch and lemon. I also detected hints of oak, green apple, and green tea. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This very good value Chard is very versatile and food friendly. I would pair it with chicken francese.
