Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Trapiche opens with a mild raspberry tea and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of dried oregano, blueberry, and green pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a black currant and graphite blend with notes of mild raspberry tea and oak. We also detected hints of red plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. This Cab would pair perfectly with grilled duck breast. Enjoy - KWGTP
