Wine Review: This Malbec was the clear winner in our big blind Malbec tasting. It is slightly opaque and dark ruby colored. It opens with a fragrant ripe black cherry bouquet with a kiss of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant and black raspberry blend with a hint of coffee and oak. The finish is dry and its tannins are very lengthy. Once unveiled, the panelist agreed that this Malbec lived up to its price tag. They would pair it with filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A Malbec of a deep garnet-red color with aromas of plum, cherry, tobacco, chocolate and coffee. It has a subtle start in the mouth with a full middle palate then, becoming a powerful wine. The red fruit, mocha and crème brulee notes stand out making it very elegant wine. Long lasting finish with very powerful tannins.
