Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with a light grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of almond. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, round, and bright. The flavor profile is a lime and tangerine blend with notes of chalky minerality and saline. I also detected some hints of green apples in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this impressive Albarino with linguini with clam sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Luminous and clear straw yellow color. Clean and intense floral aroma (acacia honey) with deliciously ripe floral notes (pineapple preserves). The primary fragrance of the variety (Albariño) is distinctive and captivating. Rich and flavorful, with lush extract and an unctuous, seductive midpalate. An excellent aperitif. Good with raw, cooked, or grilled seafood. Pairs perfectly with mild, white fish. Its lively palate strikes a perfect balance with soft goat cheeses.
