Wine Review: This unique straw colored Albarino was fermented in granite egg vats. This wine opens with a nectarine and lime bouquet with hints of crushed seashells. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lush and has nice palate coverage. The flavor profile is a saline and Anjou pear blend with notes of chalky minerality and lime. I also detected hints of mild grapefruit and almond. The finish is dry. This Albarino would pair well with a swordfish steak. Enjoy - Ken
