Wine Review: This deep ruby colored opens with a kirsch and boysenberry bouquet with hints of Good n’ Plenty. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a boysenberry and blackberry blend with notes of graphite and black licorice. I also detected hints of thyme. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for quite a while. This red blend would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aroma: Currant, blackberry, graphite & cedar
Flavor: Raspberry framed by a refreshing acidity and chocolate-laden tannins. A tried-and-true crowd pleaser.
