Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from Paso Robles is very good. It opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black and red raspberry blend with hints of boysenberry, black plum and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite some time. This wine is very friendly and it would pair well with slow cooked short ribs. Everyone who tried it, liked it. Drink in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Displaying a nose of red currant, dusty black cherries and subtle earth. Lush tannins on the palate with bright red plum preserve, juicy acidity and a soft suede mouth feel resolves with slight herbaceous menthol and white pepper.
