Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a fragrant gooseberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic, zippy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe yellow grapefruit with notes of tangerine and a little lime mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. This Sauvignon Blanc would be perfect at the beach on a hot summer day. I would pair it with pan-fried lemon and orange, orange roughy. Enjoy - Ken
