Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Tom Eddy opens with a mild lemon tart bouquet with a faint hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a gentle green apple with nicely integrated mild minerality and a touch of oak. I also detected just a hint of Anjou pear in the background. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Chard is very easy to drink and quite versatile. It would pair well with many foods. I would pair it with Zuni Cafe's chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This was the year of the infamous Tubbs Lane wildfire in Napa Valley which destroyed much of our 2017 vintage. Fortunately, we got the Parcel One Chardonnay into the winery and finished before any problems could occur. And it's a keeper.
