Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Tolosa opens with a smoky oak, black cherry and caramel bouquet with hints of wild strawberry jam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a mild red plum and red raspberry blend with notes of toasted oak, pomegranate and crushed stone. We also detected hints of teaberry, red licorice, and clove. The finish is dry and its delicate tannins, flavors and a little heat linger for a bit. The Panel suggested pairing the Pinot with a mushroom risotto or a salmon burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
