Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petite Sirah from Titus is a big boy. It opens with an espresso and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of moist tobacco, walnuts, and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and opulent. The flavor profile is ripe black cherry and dark chocolate blend with notes of black licorice and stony minerality. We also detected hints of black plum, tobacco, and dried herbs. The finish is dry, and its bold flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite some time. We would pair this Petite Sirah with well-marbled ribeye or braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Titus Petite Sirah has beautiful aromas of berry compote, boysenberry syrup, cola, toasty oak and purple flowers. The wine is mouth coating with a deep rich texture and viscosity. Flavors of berry pie, blue fruits, cracked pepper, huckleberry and cola greet the palate as the wine rolls through to the finish. Deep tannins give the wine structure and definition throughout the entire palate. This wine should age exceptionally.
