Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Malbec from Titus opens with a very fragrant blackberry and black raspberry bouquet with hints of espresso and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous, and rich. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black tea blend with notes of crushed stone and oak. We also detected hints of black licorice, black pepper, and black plum. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this impressive Malbec with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Malbec has a beautiful bouquet with pomegranate, raspberry, boysenberry, violets, and hints of vanilla. The silky-smooth entry leads to a seamless palate with fine tannins that give the wine a sleek structure and a core of delicious fruit. Black cherry, blackberry preserves, and mulberry greet your palate as they fade to warm spice flavors and a toasty crème brulee note on the finish. Enjoy through 2035.
