Wine Review: This medium purple colored Malbec from Titus opens with a black cherry, oak, plum, and toasted coconut bouquet with hints of baking spice and pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, concentrated and a little juicy. The flavor profile is stewed plum and blackberry blend with notes of black cherry cola, toasted coconut, vanilla, and oak. We also detected a hint of iced tea in the mix. The finish is dry and is bold and dusty tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel recommends decanting this Malbec in the near term and pairing it with beef stew or shepherd’s pie. We also thought this is a nice wine to drink on its own, by the firepit. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Malbec has a beautiful bouquet with pomegranate, raspberry, boysenberry, violets, and hints of vanilla. The silky-smooth entry leads to a seamless palate with fine tannins that give the wine a sleek structure and a core of delicious fruit. Black cherry, blackberry preserves, and mulberry greet your palate as they fade to warm spice flavors and a toasty crème brulee note on the finish. Enjoy through 2033.
