Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a gentle boysenberry and ripe black cherry bouquet with hints of shoe leather and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is gentle blackberry and crushed stone blend with notes breakfast tea and oak. We also detected a hint of mocha. The finish is dry and its moderate integrated tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab and pair it with Roy’s rib roast or a bone-in ribeye steak with truffle butter. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Titus "Family Reserve" displays the focused character of the Ehlers Lane vineyard with a powerful wine that is impeccably structured. As it develops in the glass, aromas of blueberry and dark cherry come together with espresso, Baker's chocolate, creme brulee, and rose hip. Unctuous on the palate, this delightful wine is nicely framed with lush tannins that highlight creme de cassis, black raspberry, and rich toast flavors. The wine keeps its freshness through the finish and lingers with purity and grace.
