Wine Review: This dark red colored Malbec from Argentina opens with a blackberry and black cherry bouquet that includes notes of oak, light blueberry, spices and vanilla. The black cherry and spices carry through on this smooth, soft and medium bodied palate. I also detected hints of black pepper. The tannins were soft and balanced with a nice dry finish. I would pair this Malbec with a pulled pork sandwich. – Joe
Winemaker Notes: From the Uco Valley county of Tunuyan, this Malbec features delicate floral aromas, deep blue fruit flavors and a salty mineralogy. It is co-fermented with 10-12% Cabernet Franc for additional complexity.
