Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored red blend from Argentina opens with a ripe blackberry bouquet with a hint of anise and oak in the background. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, fruit forward and jammy. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry and black licorice blend with notes of oak and a hint of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and show nice length. This fruit bomb would be a very nice barbecue wine. I would serve it with ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is Malbec and Syrah in their most natural expression of untouched grapes shining through and capturing the true essence of the organic vineyard where they were picked. It has a beautiful pomegranate color and aroma of fresh red cherries with light French oak undertones. The palate is fresh and lively with black raspberry and spiced mocha notes. A great companion to barbeque or burgers, and incredibly easy to drink on its own. A real crowd pleaser.
