Wine Review: This dark red colored kitchen sink blend from Three Wine Company is very nice and a terrific value. It opens with a blackberry, oak and black olive bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum with notes of craisin and red currant. I also detected a hint of Chinese five spice and cinnamon towards the end. This finish is dry and fades away nicely. This wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser. I would pair it with a turkey dinner with cranberry and stuffing. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Each of these varietals contribute to the deep purple/black color and piercing, high-toned aromas of boysenberry, violets and dark plum. Massive on the attack, showing off all of its 100+-year-old-vine pedigree. Packed with crushed black fruits and black cherry liqueur, the finish remains firm and vibrant. Drink now (hard not to) or lay down for up to a decade. As with all these ancient-vine reds, oxygen is its friend.
