Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Three opens with a brambly berry bouquet with notes of redwood and fruitcake. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and very expressive with fruit forward flavors. Those flavors are a red raspberry and cherry-cola blend with notes of spiced red plum. I also detected hints of nutmeg, red licorice, and oak. On the finish, its fruit flavors and dusty dry tannins linger and last for a very long time. I would pair this Zin with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
