Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a steeped oolong tea and pomegranate bouquet with hints of cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is red plum, cranberry and gentle oolong tea blend with notes of stone minerality and strawberry. We also detected hints of saline, loam, and oak. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Pinot. The Tasting Panel would pair this crowd-pleasing Pinot with veal schnitzel or lamb stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
