Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a mild black cherry, cedar, and black plum bouquet with hints of dried herbs and teaberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, refined, and bright. The flavor profile is tasty black plum and cherry blend with notes of mushroom and pomegranate. We also detected hints of red raspberry tea and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its acidity and tannins linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with rabbit stew with mushrooms, seared tuna steak, or with toro sashimi. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: In this bottling, you’ll recognize blackberry, plum, and red currant, complemented by wild strawberry and fir. Influences of the diverse terroir of Sonoma County can be identified as a core pillar in this wine – the iconic sea spray minerality keeps this wine bright and lively and it was love at first sip.
