Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a forest floor and blackberry bouquet with hints of tobacco leaf, black cherry, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is stony minerality, red plum, and red beet blend with notes of black cherry, blueberry, and cardamon. We also detected hints of dried strawberry and oak. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would drink this Pinot on its own. With food we would pair it with veal Milanese or with osso buco. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, you’ll find dense, dark blueberry notes. A hallmark of this famous site. Leading into zesty orange peel, aromatic black tea, and blackberry compote on the palate. With lingering flavors of caramel and an energetic finish, this Pinot Moir overdelivers year after year.
