Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Blanc opens with a lemon and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of pineapple and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated medium bright acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is mineral influenced lemon with notes of white peach and lime. We also detected hints of white pepper, jasmine tea, and pineapple mixed in. The finish is dry, and its well managed acidity and flavors are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this Pinot Blanc with linguine with clam sauce topped with fresh parmesan cheese or with a seafood casserole. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: In this bottling, we love the elegant flavors of white nectarine flower, crisp green apple, and slate-like minerality. As the most recent addition to our Durell Vineyard lineup, this brilliant wine is the perfect sip for springtime.
