Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant mango and honeydew melon bouquet with notes of toasty oak, honeysuckle, and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with bright medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, slightly creamy, and very mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral, golden delicious apple, and Meyer lemon blend with notes of pear, oak, and baking spice. We also detected hints of pineapple and toasted almond in the mix. The finish is dry and very refreshing for a Chard. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with a creamy garlic chicken or grilled chicken alfredo. Enjoy – KWGTP
