Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a black plum and cinnamon bouquet with hints of mushroom and spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. We also found it to be juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced spiced plum with notes of cinnamon. We also detected hints of dried herbs and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This Pinot would pair well grilled pork chop or wild pheasant in a mushroom wine sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: With this vintage, you'll discover toasted marshmallow and vanilla on the nose which leads to an explosion of fruit, notably wild blackberries and Santa Rosa plums. Coupled with an essence of fresh coffee beans, these aromatics come to life to dazzle your senses. This estate Pinot is as svelte and seductive as you'd expect from Durell.
