Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a mild cola and gentle strawberry bouquet with hints of leather and light florals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum with notes of minerality. We also detected hints of cedar and spice. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity and gentle fine tannins linger nicely. The Panel felt that this Pinot would pair well with a pork chop or cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy – KWGTP.
Winemaker Notes: The Gap's Crown Vineyard is one of our coldest vineyards, resulting in fruit packed with flavor and tannins. The 2017 Estate Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir wows with its concentration and structure. Blueberry blossoms, black cherry, and gingerbread meld together to give this wine heavenly aromatics. On the palate, you'll find lush, savory notes and blue fruits. This wine is built to last and is always an excellent candidate for cellaring.
