Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks is a big boy wine. It opens with a very fragrant raspberry pie bouquet with hints of wild strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features ripe raspberry flavors with notes of pomegranate, cranberry and minerality. I also detected some hints of oak and cinnamon towards the very end. The finish lingers nicely. This fruity and pretty complex Pinot would be best enjoyed on its own. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: On the nose you'll find forest floor, blackberry tea, and hints of toasted marshmallow, while the palate offers tart cherry and a blend of cinnamon and cacao. 2017 marks 20 years since we purchased Durell, the birthplace of Price Family Vineyards and Estates. We honor this occasion with a special bottling that pays homage to our original black label artwork. Cheers to the history and legacy of this iconic Sonoma vineyard.
