Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks presented well for the Tasting Panel. It opens with a cherry-cola bouquet with hints of raspberry, turned earth and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with medium acidity. We also found it to be juicy. The flavor profile is a black plum with notes of raspberry and integrated gentle minerality. We also detected hints of cola-cola, blueberry and cranberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel certainly thought this Pinot could stand on its own. With food they suggested pan seared duck breast. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Aptly nicknamed the "belle of the ball," the Cuvee Eva Marie is a case study in elegance. To craft this precious wine, we select the finest barrels from our organically farmed One Sky Vineyard, situated high above the clouds of Sonoma Valley. The result is a cerebral expression of Sonoma Mountain and a true testament to the vintage. The 2017 is balanced with notes of sweet raspberries, toasted vanilla bean and fresh violets. Known for its silky tannins, this Pinot Noir continues to wow us year after year.
