Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot opens with a mild strawberry and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black raspberry with notes of strawberry and gentle oak. There was also a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and it has fine tannins. This wine is food friendly and it went very well with our Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Pinot Noir was made with fruit exclusively from our Durell Vineyard. This Pinot Noir opens up with warm inviting aromas of juicy black cherries and dark rose, followed by black raspberry and spice. The mouth is juicy and full with fresh plum, berries and a vibrant full texture, finishing seamlessly with a smooth burst of lush fruit.
