Wine Review: This Riesling offering from Three Rivers Winery was translucent in color with barely a hint of light straw. The bouquet was earthy and floral with some pleasant ripe peach and some herbal notes. On the palate, this wine was medium bodied, smooth and crisp with a flavor profile of apricots and pineapples. I also picked up some notes of honey and a hint of herbs. This straight forward Riesling has fine acidity and balance. The finish was fruity and fades away nicely. I would serve this summer sipper slightly chilled on its own or with an appetizer of melons wrapped in prosciutto. – Joe
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of crunchy Asian pear, lychee, peach and white blossom lead to a beautiful off-dry mouth-filling experience of juicy stone fruits. A bright, balanced wine with crisp acidity on the finish.
