Wine Review: This deep purple colored Petite Sirah from Three opens with a boysenberry and dark cherry bouquet with hints of wet shale. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and juicy. The flavor profile is a blueberry and black raspberry tea blend with notes of oak. The Panel also detected hints of stewed plum and dark chocolate mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins and flavors show nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this Petite Sirah with short ribs or smoked brisket. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Explosive aromas of blueberry preserves and sweet herbs and packed with blueberry flavors and firm tannins, accentuate this ultra-concentrated Petite Sirah. Drink now for its primary fruit plushness or age 5 to 7 years to help soften the tannins. For those of us who love Petite Sirah, this one will not disappoint.
