Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Carignane opens with a raisin and oak bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and juicy. The flavor profile is blackberry with notes of minerality and plum. I also detected hints of acai berry and touch of prune. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a little sticky. This Carignane would pair well with duck confit. Enjoy – Ken
