Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a new leather and spiced raspberry bouquet with hints of sarsaparilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is gentle black raspberry and cedar blend with notes of white pepper and red plum. I also detected hints of teaberry and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and managed gentle tannins fade away nicely. I would pair this Pinot with grilled salmon. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Reserve Pinot Noir is an ethereal Pinot expression with a bright and plush palate, juicy forest berries, violets, with of hint of dried black tea, baking spices and forest floor. The wine's finale is expressed with brisk acidity and fine-grained tannins.
