Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of espresso, plum and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, soft, and balanced. The flavor profile is black currant and cedar with notes of cream soda. Hint of espresso, horehound and dusty minerality. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins and juicy fruit linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Cab with homemade meatloaf or a with a tender eye of round roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the Rim: Deep dark black olives with touches of magenta.
On the Nose: Beautiful sweet nose of vanilla, oak, cedar, cinnamon, chocolate powder, anise, and licorice.
On the Mouth: Velvety, soft entrance evolving on a round, soft mid-palate with touches of cassis, licorice, and blackberry, lingering on dark cherry and integrated tannins.
