Wine Review: This dark red colored Grenache and Mourvèdre based blend opens with a blackberry and black pepper bouquet with hints of acai berry and loam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and approachable. The flavor profile is a vanilla-cola and red licorice blend with notes of gentle acai berry. I also detected hints of mild red cherry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins linger nicely. I would pair this easy to drink red blend with lamb lollipops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This purple garnet complex cuvée is delightful from first encounter to last sip. On the nose, notes of blueberry are complemented by a potpourri of wild-flowers, sage, and perfumed spices. The palate is bright and juicy. Rich notes of preserved cherry, subtle earth, and soft peppery spice transcend to a long, lively finish. This wine pairs with a wide variety of cuisine. Pair with comforting stews, and pasta dishes. Also, an enjoyable glass on its own.
