Wine Review: This midnight blue colored red blend from Thelema opens with a ripe blackberry jam bouquet with a hint of black cherry and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild oak and black cherry blend with hints of blackberry, dark chocolate and black pepper. The finish is dry and its sturdy tannins are rather sticky and linger for quite some time. I would swirl it a bunch or decant this wine before serving it with very thick and juicy burger. It is a very good deal for $15. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Spicy aromas of black pepper and mulberry mingle with the plum flavours of this soft and approachable wine. Particularly good with light and medium flavoured meals, such as pizza and braai.
