Wine Review: This approachable Pinot Noir from California is a clear, medium red color, with a very aromatic nose of spiced blackberry jam, strawberry bubble gum, and candied violets. On the palate, it is fresh, very smooth, and juicy with a medium body and medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, linear and fruit focused. The flavor profile features tangy pomegranate, red raspberry, MacIntosh apple, dried herbs, clove, and green tea. The finish is moderate and dry with very light tannins. I would pair this Pinot with a grilled turkey burger with Swiss. - Mark
