Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from The Paring opens with a mild lemon verbena and lime bouquet with hints of sage. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated medium acidity. It is also pleasantly mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral and lime blend with notes of saline and honeydew melon. I also detected hints of ginger and white pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this crowd-pleasing Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Few Sauvignon Blanc wines this youthful can also boast this level of complexity. The nose is deliciously exotic, with lemon, melon and white peach soaring out of the glass. The wine's laser beam of acidity refreshes and cleanses the palate, while its decadent texture demands another mouthwatering sip. Perfect for those warm nights on the patio.
