Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from the Paring opens with a pineapple, lemon, and golden apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, and its flavor profile features lemon verbena and minerality. I also detected notes of pineapple and Anjou pear along with hints of saline and oak. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. I would pair this food friendly wine with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Low yields and cool days created a blend that is both bold and rich as well as chiseled and steely. Citrus and green melon and hints of baking spice. Ready to pop and pour, it shines immediately out of the bottle.
