Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Franc opens with a wet slate and mild black currant bouquet with a hint of black raspberry and black tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a mild crushed stone dust and concentrated black currant blend with notes of black tea and black cherry. We also detected hints of dark chocolate, cedar, and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Cab Franc with a skirt steak, steak tartare, or roast lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
