Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and boysenberry with hints of oak, pencil lead and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and slightly acidic. It also has a very smooth texture. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced black currant with notes of black cherry. We also detected hints of black licorice, black tea and herbs mixed in. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this young Cab based blend with duck breast or a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – KWGTP (Magnums Only)
Winemaker Notes: The Ultimate Debate stemmed from the idea if both sides of an equation were to come together, the results would be tremendous. Imagine a utopian view of this country understanding and accepting differences; how beautiful would our world be? The Ultimate Debate is our "Wine World" version of that, blending our Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc together
