Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from The Debate is terrific! It opens with a black currant, blueberry and floral bouquet with hints of black cherry and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well-balanced, smooth, silky and dense. The flavor profile is very tasty black cherry and integrated crush stone blend with notes of black currant and oak. We also detected hints of fig and blueberry at the very end. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins gracefully builds-up and then lingers and last for a very long time. We would pair this Cab with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy – Ken and Dave
Winemaker Notes: Color: Dark black oil with touches of scarlet and lipstick on the rim.
On the Nose: Beautiful balance between fruit, spices and herbs with touches of Espelette pepper, crushed red pepper flakes and rosemary, lingering on dark cherry preserve and fern.
On the Palate: Silky entrance evolving on a fresh mid-palate with granular tannins, touches of mulberry, persimmon and plum, lingering on gingerbread and lilac.
