Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant bouquet with notes of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and rounded. The flavor profile is a dark chocolate and black currant blend with notes of cedar. I also detected hints of anise, clove, and black pepper in the background. The finish is dry and its medium tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this very nice Cab with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Tether Cabernet Sauvignon bursts from the glass with abundant aromas of black currant liqueur, huckleberry compote and blueberry pie. The gorgeous dark fruit core is complemented by layers of volcanic rock, spring flowers, mocha, spice, and well-integrated French oak. The wine possesses a rich texture that coats the palate in velvety tannins, sweet ripe fruit and elegant toasty oak. This wine showcases dazzling finesse and leaves you with an enduring finish.
