Wine Review: This ruby colored wine from Tuscany opens with a red plum bouquet with hints of strawberry and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is graphite influenced red plum with notes of oak and tart raspberry. I also detected hints of sour cherry in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and lasts for a very long time. This wine would pair well with Italian braciole. Enjoy - Ken
