Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a ripe pear with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty Bosc pear with notes of green apple and honey. I also detected a hint of almond mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This is a very good and food friendly wine. I would pair it with chicken francese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A decadent Chenin Blanc for any occasion, this plush bottling offers notes of honeysuckle and citrus which are balanced by a bright, seamless acidity. A true crowd-pleaser.
