Wine Review: This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an interesting Canada mint, black olive and black licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant and black tea blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of cocoa, blueberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its solid tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. This Cab would benefit from some decanting in near term. I would pair it with a ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
