Wine Review: This pale salmon colored Rosé from Telaya in Idaho opens with a faint ruby grapefruit, red cherry and light peach bouquet with hints of rose petal, tangerine, and gardenia. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and slightly mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a stony minerality, apple, and faint peach blend with notes of chamomile tea and pink grapefruit. We also detected some hints of tangerine and strawberry. The finish is dry, and refreshing and subtly fades away. The Tasting Panel would pair this Rosé with a mahi mahi sandwich or with poached rainbow trout. Enjoy – KWGTP.
Winemaker Notes: A delicate hue of salmon hints at the traditional nature of this Rosé. A nose full of roses and strawberry with some vanilla spice goes right into the minerality of the body and the more delicate finish.
