Wine Review: This opaque red colored Shiraz based blend opens with blackberry, cedar and eucalyptus bouquet with notes of black cherry. On the palate, it is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is black plum with notes of black tea and cedar. I also detected some hints of earth and toasted oak towards the end. The finish features tannins that are soft and refined. This wine is a crowd pleaser and would go well with feta and prosciutto stuffed porchetta. - Dave
Winemaker Notes: This Shiraz-Cinsault blend is a lavish expression of dark berries and blackcurrant. The palate is elegant and smooth a with refined, soft tannins. Crafted with a French flair, Le Rouge is fresh, balanced and appealing.
