Wine Review: This straw colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa is very good and a terrific value. It opens with a pleasant quince and honey bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a quince and pear blend with notes of honey. I also detected a hint of fig and dash of brown sugar. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last nicely. This Chenin is food friendly and would pair nicely with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A decadent Chenin for any occasion, this luxurious bottling offers notes of honeysuckle and citrus which are balanced by a bright, seamless acidity. A true crowd-pleaser!
