Wine Review: This dark straw colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa is very good. It opens with a ripe pear bouquet with hints of honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe pear and mineral blend with notes of white pepper and tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors are very nicely prolonged. This Chenin Blanc would pair well with Spanish paella with chorizo, chicken and shrimp. Enjoy – Ken
